This Friday saw the battle for the box office by between ‘Kavan’ and ‘Dora’ headed by two of Tamil cinema’s most enigmatic stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Both the films have taken good opening throughout Tamil Nadu.
‘Kavan’ has collected around 3.10 Crores on the opening day making it the biggest in Vijay Sethupathi’s career. The Chennai collections stand at 34 Lakhs. His cause has been helped to a great extent by TR and the well researched screenplay from Subha, Kabilan Vairamuthu and K. V. Anand.
Nayanthara’s fantasy, horror ‘Dora’ has garnered an impressive 1.5 Crores collection all over TN with Chennai contributing 19Lakhs. The films main draw is the Lady Superstar Nayanthara.
